Retencall Privacy Policy
ABDELWADOUD DJILLALI MOULAY ("we") operates Retencall, an account-based study app. Contact us about privacy at voidcode0@gmail.com. The operator is based in Algeria.
Data we process
We process account identifiers, email address, optional profile name, authentication-provider information, preferences, saved learning material, documents and images you choose, chat messages, practice answers, transcripts, results, subscription status, purchase identifiers, Credit usage, and operational request records.
If you record audio, the recording is uploaded privately to create a transcript and is deleted after successful transcription. A transcript may remain in your learning history. Source attachments used for AI processing are private and are deleted after the relevant processing step; saved learning material remains until you delete it or your account.
How we use data
We use data to authenticate you, sync your library and preferences, generate study material, transcribe speech, evaluate practice, provide subscription access and Credit accounting, prevent abuse, maintain security, and operate and troubleshoot the service. We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
Service providers
Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and server functions. Depending on the feature and provider you choose, submitted text, documents, images, or recordings may be sent to Google (Gemini) or ElevenLabs to generate study material, answers, evaluations, or transcripts. RevenueCat and Apple process subscription status and purchase events. Google and Apple may process information when you choose their sign-in services.
The app asks for permission before first sending your content to an AI provider. You can withdraw that permission in Profile, then Privacy; requests already sent cannot be recalled.
Retention and deletion
Account information, saved learning material, and account-linked activity are retained while your account is active unless you delete individual content or the account. Temporary processing uploads are deleted promptly where the feature supports it, including after successful transcription and source processing. Operational, security, debugging, reconciliation, subscription, transaction, Credit, fraud-prevention, and legally relevant records are retained only as reasonably necessary for those purposes or applicable obligations; we do not promise a fixed period where none is technically enforced. Account deletion removes the authentication account, private stored files, and account-linked learning data. Limited records legitimately required for financial, legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes may remain, with access restricted to those purposes.
Your choices
You can edit or delete saved content, withdraw AI-sharing permission, manage or cancel a subscription through Apple, and delete your account in the app. For access, correction, deletion, objection, or other applicable privacy requests, contact voidcode0@gmail.com.
Children
Retencall is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Security and international processing
We use access controls, private storage, encrypted network connections, and server-side provider credentials. Data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated effective date on this page.
